A. Once our alarm centre receives a call from a member who is in need of our services, a courier is despatched from the closest blood bank, on the next available scheduled flight with the blood.

A. We are restricted to scheduled flights so it will very much depend where the member is.

A. No, but providing the funding is available we will do everything we can to help to source and deliver blood.

A. Whenever we courier blood it is packaged to meet internationally approved standards and is able to remain within the temperature range of 2 - 10 degrees C for up to 36 hours.

A. Yes we can provide all of the eight blood groups.

A. As with all charitable companies we are always most grateful for donations, however large or small.

A. The standards of blood transfusion centres can change very quickly and we assess each country on the information we have available at the time of a request for blood so it is not possible to list all locations on the website.

A. No, we source from internationally recognised blood banks which have the necessary facilities to screen and store blood to the highest possible standards.

A. No, we have no facility for that.

A. No. We recommend all travellers carry documentary confirmation of their group with them if possible (such as a blood donor card) but if this is not possible then the treating doctor will group the patient before contacting us.
